Is being laid back different from being friendly?

  • There's a fine line

I think friendly people tend to be very jovial if you will. Polite.

I think laid backness tends to be more about being chill and approachable and being someone you can tell anything to

Even jovial people tend to have certain topics off limits (like crudeness and sexual stuff)

Sciorra is a good example of someone who I think is laid back but not the jovial friendly type. I mean this woman after all grew up in a rough borough (Brooklyn). She's rough and Italian in a good way (and I think she wears Jordans and says "bro" to her bros [pals and brothers alike, assuming she has brothers]).

Aleksa Palladino si more the friendly, polite, proper type.
