• Of course it is, we are America after all

America just loves to win, be the best, be the hero. We honestly have the biggest ego and cause a bunch of destruction throughout the world (but I know we are not the only one). And one thing about America is that we are sore losers, most people are so competitions are a terrible idea because when we are mad or feel threatened by someone or some place our first thought is "oh, let's just bomb them"

  • Yes it is

yes, I think that the competition that we have here in the US is something that drives the country forward to great things. I think that it is a really good thing to have, and that it is what makes the country keep pushing to want a lot more things.

  • Yes, it is.

Competition is not only important in America, but all over the world. If there aren't people and entities to compete with, there are less innovations and things begin to stagnante. Competition is why America continues to lead the world in so many important categories like science and technology and higher education.

  • Competition inspires us to be our best.

Competition is important in America and it is important in other countries, as well. We are striving to be the best that we can be. If we see others who are doing better or more or faster than us, we are inspired to do better. Competition in America is the way that we get ahead. It is also the way that we feel better about ourselves when we succeed.

  • Competitin is key

competition is so crucial to America it would not be a super power without it. That is what makes citizens strive to be there best and it helps us compete successfully against the rest of the world. This country would slip to a second rate nation if people were not encouraged to compete.

  • It is everywhere

Competition is one of the most important concepts that a lot of Americans hold dear. We believe that our economic system needs to be based on capitalism, which says that competition is the best way to breed economic growth. We also are very competitive with sports as well. It is everywhere.
