  • Fashion is harmful to society.

Fashion is harmful to society, Because it promotes unrealistic look for clothes that cost a lot of money and they are not beautiful at all. Many people get influenced by it and spend money that they don't have just to look fashionable. It is something really weird to me.

  • Modern trend in dressing.

What are reason modern trend in dressing has caused more harm than good in the society-supporting. How does modern trend in dressing has caused more harm than good in the society-supporting. What is mean dressing or modern trend in dressing. Give me the correct answer to my question thank you.

  • Fashion is conspiracy to change attitude.

Most people think its about latest jewleries, brand products and dressing styles. It is! But not primarily. It is bad that it creates unhealthy compitition with in the society and give no chance to choose what you truly want and is right. It only focuses on the outer look of an individual and it make people think clothe is the ultimate goal. They simply follow it and it leads them to hell.

  • Feel that fashion is harmful to society, because it promotes a culture that is based solely on appearance.

The fashion industry encourages an unrealistic outlook for men and women in regards to their bodies and their looks. Women and men have gone to great extremes to mold their bodies into what the fashion world has decided is "perfect", often disregarding their health and well-being, just to look like the air-brushed, rail-thin models that the industry has deemed beautiful.

  • Fashion & Makeup are inseparable

    https://rcg.org/books/tthbm.html
Hundreds of millions of adoring fans want to look like their favorite movie stars. Even little girls can become obsessed with being pretty, when they should be enjoying childhood and playing with dolls and toys. They can easily become slaves to fashion trends that are inseparable from using makeup.
Everyone wants to look or be considered pretty—or even beautiful. The pull of vanity begins early in life. Modern society places enormous emphasis on beauty. As a result, recent studies demonstrate that even very little girls are unhappy with themselves to the point of depression, with many actually contemplating suicide as a result! They feel that they do not measure up to their peers or favorite movie stars. Today, the obsession with being beautiful has led nearly 10 million adolescent and teenage girls into eating disorders.
The widely publicized death of a six-year-old “beauty queen” demonstrates there is a growing culture obsessed with beauty in very young girls.
Younger and younger girls who enter beauty contests are also having cosmetic surgery to attempt to win and to improve upon how God made them.
The obsession with looking young, and turning back the clock, has now gone beyond outrageous.
Since the artwork described here also employed the use of makeup, it is no wonder that 100 years ago it was generally understood and said that “only bad women wear makeup.” It is the same attitude of alluring through suggestion and sensuality that links near nudity and use of makeup. Both demonstrate a departure from modesty and virtue.
More recently, makeup first became common in the red-light districts of New York, Amsterdam, Paris and other large cities. Today it is found in nearly every supermarket and corner drugstore.

  • Girls or boys waste time for fashion

Many boys and girls at adolescence fall in love and to impress their mate they waste their time in fashion. I have seen so many incidents in which a girl, who is good in studies falls in love for fashion or for making a boyfriend and starts wasting time for impressing him. To impress the first thing in her mind comes about dressing. So she wastes her time in dressing instead of reading. Same case is also for a boy.

  • Fashion really stinks

Many people can be neglected because of what they are wearing , for example I like wearing the older day clothes and last year I was teased constantly for wearing "UGLY" clothing. It really hurt my feelings as I really liked what I was wearung, it shouldn't matter what others think of your clothing. Fashion is just plain BRUTUL!!!

  • Fashion can stink

Some clothes may not look as nice as others and people can become neglected by that. It shouldn't matter what other people think of your clothes as long as you like it , it is great! Many kids can get bullied by the clothes they are wesring. For example I got bullied last year

  • Fashion Industry - Getting You to BRAND yourself for their benefit

The Fashion Industry has played a historic role for promoting health problems, psychological problems, as well as character deficits in women (and men) who look to fit a specific image.

Health Problems and psychological problems are seen in very high amount of anorexic, bulimic, as well as countless other eating or body image problems that arise from the goal to be worthy in the Fashion Industry. Psychological problems, such as compulsive spending which leads to financial destitution is seen in many individuals who have irresponsibly dug themselves into a hole to serve their goal of purchasing things that the fashion industry has branded as "mandatory for human worthiness".
Furthermore, kindly look at all the Asian/African American/ or pretty much all non-European women who have changed their appearances Iplastic surgeries on nose) in order to fit the standard of beauty that modeling agencies have repeatedly presented.

Fashion does dictate the flair of my pants, the color scheme of my shirts, or the jewlery I will be wearing. My human need to fit in will always be there. However, this is something I realize that can only be taken away when I decide to create my own Fashion look. Unfortunately, I do not have the $, skillset or time to design my own clothes. THerefore, I am at the mercy of whatever clothes are available as dictated by the winds of the Fashion Industry.

  • Fashion is art.

"Fashion is the most powerful art there is. It's movement, design and architecture all in one. It shows the world who we are and who we'd like to be." High fashion is a form of art, designers spend a lot of time and creativity on the garments that they show season after season. Besides it is a way to express yourself, you can show the kind of person that you are, that you aren't, what you like or what you don't, all just with a simple accessory or piece. Summing it up, fashion is a daily way to embrace art and express who you are or who you want to be.

  • Fashion is not harmful to society.

I do not believe that fashion is harmful to society. I think that fashion increases and benefits society. If everyone was wearing the same thing it would be a very boring society. Fashion as far as clothes stimulates society. Also it stimulates society via television. This is done with shows such as america's next top model and project runway.

  • Fashion shows a persons creativity.

Fashion shows what type of person someone is, and without that kids are the same as everyone else. They don't have something that shows what they are like, and if a kid is the same as everyone else, it can dull their life by about 60%. The kids don't feel unique anymore, and that is not good. Feeling special is one of the most important part of a kids life.

  • Because all the people have the right to wear different kinds of fashionable clothes.

It is very stylish and comfortable to wear. Men tend to be liked more by women when they are well groomed. A person having a personal style that is unique, fashion can give a person more confidence. When people are well dressed it can cause people to respect them more. People wear fashionable clothes to appear more beautiful and respectful.

  • Fashion is walking art, it inspires to nto only to express yourself but also your culture and identity.

Fashion designers search for inspiration from cultures, different eras, cities and nature. Not to harm someones self image but to create something beautiful for everyone to feel beautiful in. Fashion advertisement is not meant to damage your self esteem or have everyone try to mold their bodies and minds into what society feels is "perfect." It simply shows that if you buy this line of clothing this is how beautiful you will feel. Not "this is the only image that can be beautiful." Fashion has been around even before we had sewing machines. It expresses our identity and culture by showing our own combination of walking art. Designers, workers etc. make the clothes off of their own inspiration, and our imagination makes the rest. Fashion is not harmful to society it is keeping us intuned to history, culture, and ourselves.

  • Fashion, in and of itself, is not harmful to society, but the emphasis placed on it is.

Fashion can be a great thing; however, the way that it has been exploited as being very important, especially in the lives of young women, has really began to destroy women's self confidence. Fashion also begins to leak into what women believe about themselves as their self image. Fashion cannot be the focal point of women's attention, otherwise it will continue to damage self esteem.

  • Fashion is showing people new ideas and, as such, can not be dangerous to society.

Fashion is something new and, thus, brings new and creative idea to people's lives. It enriches them, and makes their lives more interesting. Without fashion, we would be stuck into dull and boring behaviors. However, excessive obsessing about fashion is not healthy, just like any other kind of obsession.

  • I don't see fashion as harmful to society at all, as it merely sets a standard that people may emulate if they want to.

Fashion is not ever going anywhere, so even the question is a bit preposterous. But, fashion is a vital big business. It provides jobs and a certain sense of enjoyment of life for millions of people. Therein, it should be left alone. Besides, how could one ever enforce anti-fashion initiatives in a free society?

  • No, fashion is not harmful to society because it is the main driving before behind the clothing industry.

Without fashion there would be very little reason for companies to invest money into research and development of newer and better fabrics, styles and blends of clothing. Yes fashion can cause a lot of stress and place a lot of expectations on people to dress a certain way, but those same problems would exist in other forms like owning the best car or the most expensive cell phone if fashion did not exist. Without fashion however we would all probably be wearing cured animal skin loin clothes or burlap sacks, as there would be little to no corporate interest into researching better materials when those serve their function.

  • Fashion is not harmful to society, as it is a form of art, and art benefits society.

Fashion is not harmful to society, because it is an art form. It is generally agreed that art benefits society as a whole, though there is some question as to how strong the benefits are. Fashion is a form of self-expression, like art. And as in art, there is no real measure of what is "good", because "goodness" is determined only by current aesthetic values. And also like in art, often what has previously been considered "bad" will become the next great style. Clearly fashion is an art, and since art benefits society, fashion must as well.
