    Although high piracy is a compliment in the form of a loyal fan base, it is not better than an EMMY. An EMMY represents recongition among one's peers for a job well done. In a sense, it is not fair to compare the two because they represent two different forms of recognition. For that reason, it is impossible to label one as better than the other.

    An Emmy is an award acknowledging talent and quality. Piracy at most only demonstrates an interest in acquiring something through illegal means. This does not necessarily mean that the product is of high quality, as people often simply want to experience something without investing money and therefore time into it. An Emmy is a better indication that something is spectacular.
