  • It is. Lol

You would get house insurance when your house catches on fire. You wouldn't shoot yourself in the face. You wouldn't think Obamacare is a good idea either. The affordable care act is actually so long, that nobody on earth has ever even read it. It's the literal worst thing ever.

  • Yes, Obamacare is a socialist law

When was the last time you went to buy a car and in order to figure out a price they ask you how much you make? Or at the grocery store? Restaurants? Home insurance? Auto insurance? That's because it doesn't matter how much money you make when you buy a service or a product. A good or a service is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Obamacare's goal is to adjust how much you pay for a service based on how much you make. Level the playing field. That's what our government has turned into. If you make more money you need to pay a higher percent for taxes. Why? Socialism. It isn't fair that some people make more money than others and so to make things more equal they pay way more in taxes and for health care. Why not cut out the middle man and pay everyone the same salary regardless of what job they have? The government has no business in the health insurance industry. Health insurance is not a right. And I feel like Obamacare has only made health insurance affordable for a specific group of people and astronomically expensive for everyone who doesn't qualify for subsidies. Obamacare is garbage, possibly the worst piece of legislation ever written. Tell me I'm wrong when health insurance premiums have doubled in the last four years. Where will it stop? $4000/month for health insurance? $6000/month? Tell me how fair it is that for a healthy family of three we pay $900/month for health insurance. That's for a cruddy bronze plan with a $14,000 deductible. Tell me how that's affordable? Is your argument sucks to be you? Isn't that why Obamacare was created? To make insurance affordable for EVERYONE? Obamacare is socialism and has to be repealed before the whole health insurance market collapses on top of itself.

  • Anything forced on us is indeed a step towards socialism

Do not act like health care was invented by the abomination of a president. It is known Obama care rates are not anymore affordable. And to be fined for not having health care makes me sick. This is only pushing us further into bigbrothers pocket but I guess these progressive Democrats want to be told what we can do and when we can do it. Governor slaves that want Free free free stuff

  • It is extortionate and socialist

People are literally forced to spend their money on a product they might not want or else get fined. Imagine being told to buy a Chevy or get fined for not supporting GM. Isn't that extortionate?

Moreover, Obamacare takes money from successful insurance companies and redistributes them to unprofitable ones, killing competition in the process.

Obamacare is extortionate and socialist. It goes against individual freedom, open markets and personal choice. It is ironic that laws like this would be implemented by a political party which likes to call itself pro-choice.

  • Yes, Obamacare is a Socialist program

It limits what health insurance you can have and forces you to get something whether or not you want to. This country is turning into a socialist country, which is just a looser communism. BUSH DID 9/11. THE ALIENS ARE PULLING THE STRINGS, THEY ARE BRAINWASHING THE PEOPLE HIGHEST UP TO MAKE US WIPE EACH OTHER OUT. 666

  • By Definition It is 100% Socialism

    Synonyms: leftism, welfarism; More
(in Marxist theory) a transitional social state between the overthrow of capitalism and the realization of communism.

  • Obama's Socialist Policies

No President has ever wanted to admit that they are following "socialist" marxist doctrine. There is a difference between the free market and the government forcing you to have something you don't need. Obamacare has forced thousands of people to look to the state for our well being. Perfect example.

  • Yes, it equalizes outcomes.

Yes, Obamacare is a socialist law, because it limits what care people can have. Even if someone wants more care than what Obamacare provides for, they cannot purchase it. If a person wants to opt out of something, like abortion services, they are not allowed to, because the government knows what's best for them. This is socialism in action.

  • Obamacare is Socialist

At its core, Obamacare is a socialist law because it provides coverage for all Americans. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, though. Obamacare can help the American people as a whole if taken care of properly. The healthcare legislation isn't off to a good start at this point in time, though.

  • Forces Everyone to Have Health Insurance

The Affordable Care Act is socialism at its finest. Every United States citizen must have health insurance or pay a fine. Those fines go to help pay for medical insurance for those who can't afford it. The rich go to pay for health coverage for the poor. This is a socialist law all the way around. However, Social Security and Medicare are also socialist laws.

  • Private health insurance is not socialism.

You do realize the Affordable Care Act is conservatism at its highest, right?

Private healthcare in a private market with fairly little regulation is not socialism - which is the absence of privatization and the total state control of all services. An actual socialist healthcare system would outlaw private healthcare, and private, non-government owned services. No country has yet to do that and no country ever will.
