By this line of thinking, if a person acts irresponsibly, ends up in the wrong place and with the wrong company, their poor decisions and actions are somehow void? The rapist is by no means justified, but if a woman gets herself drunk, or high, or is not dressed up to a proper standard of decency, than they invite something as horrible as rape to come upon them. To become drunk or high, sacrifices your clear and instinctual thinking. If someone makes improper advances, they do not seem as threatening. To dress in a poor and sensual manner causes such feelings to come out strongly in the rapist, causing lust and then action on such a powerful and primal instinct.
