Is Romeo and Juliet about the impetuous of youth rather than the lunacy of old age?

Asked by: Finnianio
  • More the impetuous of youth I'd say

This is because of the immaturity and lack of adult qualities that shines right through Romeo and Juliet's actions as they are young in age. The situation that they were in certainly didn't help due to the tendency of young marriages and also the two families that were at each other's necks, put more stress on the two lovers young minds, increasing the chances of impetuous and rash decision making.
