  • Not all school rules are necessary but some of them are for our own good

I understand that some school rules are unecessary but life after school is full of rules and having rules in a school setting prepares us for that. I've noticed a lot of people complaining about school dress codes, In my country every school has uniforms and I understand why, Not every student is as fortunate as the others and therefore can't afford brand name items or clothes as good as the others and thus takes a toll on the students self esteem. Uniforms also look great and very neat when the whole school is together, Trust me. I hope this helped.

  • Rules are made to maximize learning and safety

Rules are made tried and tested to ensure that everything is fair and safe for students to learn to the best of their ability.
While not all rules seem fair and logical like uniforms, They create a structure and habit for students to adopt to prepare them for the working world.
Lastly, Rules are not made to torture students, There is no reason to do so given the backlash they could receive from parents. Rules that are made can be changed for the benefit of the students,

  • Dress code is fair

The dress code that most schools have consist of some kind of uniform. Which gives every student the opportunity to be equal. To lower bullying and kids being harrassed because they aren't like other kids and don't have the ability to get expensive things like other kids may be able to.

  • School rules do NOT drool.

You say school rules must be broke. Well look no further at your future,a future where sirens blare. Where they wont except a student with a low key expectation. Detention time you get bad reviews from teachers they try hard to help you out but NO. They talk about your bad repetition break the rules ruin your repetition.

  • Rules enforce common sense, diligence, and the ability to make a good judgement.

If we did not have school rules, students would not waste a second to take advantage of the fact that everything that was once prohibited is now completely fine to do. Take, for example, the school dress code. Our dress code rules teach us to take into account how we look to others by telling us what is and is not appropriate school attire. Without these rules, students are less likely to be well-aware of how to dress appropriately and are more likely to dress indecently and offensively. Secondly, our school rules teach us how to make a good judgement of something. If a rule says "No chewing gum in class", and students choose to follow that rule, then the argument that students will improve their judgement and common sense skills is correct. Why? Because they know that if they do not follow this rule, there will be a consequence for their actions.

  • Rules are important...

Rules are very useful in shaping the students life in order for them to be acceptable in the society, sometimes the strictness of rules or the extremeness of the punishment is helpful to tame very wild students. Rules go a long way in a student's life if the student is willing to obey, for example, most students do not understand or appreciate the importance of dressing, but with the help of dress code rules, students begin to see its importance and decide to change. This will help them on the long run to be addressed properly due to their appearance.

  • To get us ready for the real world

Rules in school only are there to get us ready for when we have to take on the real world. For example when we get a job and our boss makes rules we have to follow them or the result won't be pretty. We could get FIRED. Therefore, rules are very important right now so we know how to act when we get in the real world.

  • Yes they are necessary

Lmfao you need to have rules in order to be a good student. I should have you know that i am a great student and i get all a's. You shall be like me. Successful and ready to work at all times. You guys are a bunch of dweebs :)

  • Why school rules are important to the society of kids

If you didn't have rules at school then kids would run wild and even if with rules kids still act bad, but the rules are in place to protect the students. Nothing is really going to stop a kid from being bad but if rules are not in place then kids would get hurt. School rules are in place to protect the students that is why there are school rules

  • The dress code is dumb

We should be able to wear what ever we want and me as a girl is more stressful because we r not allowed to wear tank tops because it shows our bra strap . Like its jest a bra strap it wont kill anyone but the teachers think it will.

  • Stupid rules that are in school

I don't think all school rules are stupid but like having a hole in your jeans you get expelled that's why they are stupid. I get that we should have some school rules but some aren't necessary at all. Like you cant socialize with your friends out in the hall that's just stupid.

  • No school rules help our learning!!!

As a student of year 6 I find that the rules are a little to tight and should loosen up a bit,to give us a little more freedom and fun but I also think we should keep the class rules in place but also loosen them up a bit if you don't think so then watch this clip:

  • Break the rules

Some rules are fine but most rules are to much. Its all strict with the rules. We need a little more freedom in school. School is suppose to be a fun experience. I get that school is preparing us for school but we are just kids we want school to be fun and a good experience. Loosen up the rules a little bit.

  • Rules prevent creativity

Because of rules, children cannot express their creativity. They also prevent children from having fun. Children will eventually become adults, causing them to lose their freedom to play and just have fun. Children need to enjoy themselves as much as possible because once they grow up, they will have no time for fun and games anymore.

  • Why Have Completely Stupid and Unnecessary rules?

Many rules created by schools are controversial and unneeded for success. Like one kid wore his Denver broncos jersey to school in 3rd grade and was told to take it off because the number 18 is "gang related". It also applies to the numbers 13 14 31 41 and 81. Other rules say you cant where black and blue because their "gang colors". Is banning gum really necessary? Its been proven that if kids don't have to hide the fact that they have gum then they throw it away more often than if it were against rules. There are some school rules that are necessary but the grand majority are statistically insignificant in what they fix.

  • Schools should be a microcosm of the world at large

Existing federal, state, and local laws are already sufficient. (and in many cases are likely overkill) There is no need for additional rules and regulations which pertain only to students who are in the school building. Adding additional rules does not help prepare students for real life as the school environment is no longer representative of the world.

  • Rules in general

Of course rules may seem to keep everyone in line but what about those who don't. Are there rules that will keep even those who do bad things in line? Of course not. If rules did not exist then there would also be no idea of rules or society and even in that sense it can not be determined as good or bad due to it never existing.
