Is the US population too big to support universal health care?

  • It would be pretty tough.

    Let's face it, 300 million is A LOT of people. Canada has about a tenth of that; Germany has about 80 million; France and Britain each have 60 million, etc. And most other European countries are even smaller. In fact, any social program that those countries have would be difficult to implement here (not just health care) because of our larger population.
