Of course these media cause gun violence in our society.There many school shooter admit that they have been played violent games before they commit mass shooting.I think guns and violent games,and violent movies should be banned for forever.If we remove this from our society perhaps it reduce violence as well.
As long as the person watching the movie knows the difference between reality and fiction, violent movies should not correlate with real life violence. Cases about people who say they were influenced by their favorite movies are over-perpetuated in the media and are minuscule compared to the overwhelming amount of people who watch violent movies and are not influenced to get into bar-fights.
