Youtube was made in the mind that individual creators can express their ideas and creativity on it. The business that jumped onto this bandwagon did so most likely as a form of advertisement. It is a shame that Youtube is becoming more and more business like. It is very sad.
Yeah, It's a shame that a company that has blown up and has become one of the most successful apps on the world wants to expand their business by "becoming more business-like" (which you didn't even explain). Of course, They're going to want to attract more ads and grow their business further.
