  • Media is powerful

People in media are the worst kind of people with no morals. There are a few journalists who still go against the flow and write the truth but most of them have some connections or people that they work for. It is like choosing the nicest demon. They work for people who do wrong and show privacy invasions as a massive improvement.

  • Media is too powerful

People in media are the worst kind of people with no morals. There are a few journalists who still go against the flow and write the truth but most of them have some connections or people that they work for. It is like choosing the nicest demon. They work for people who do wrong and show privacy invasions as a massive improvement.

  • Thanks media :/

The media has a lot of negative effects
    Distorted Body Image:
The world is full of perfect people today. With perfect skin, body, and hair – that’s what it appears like to the young today. Thanks to Photoshop, the standard of beauty has become impossible to achieve. And these images are everywhere. This has led to distorted body image among a number of teenagers. Anorexia and bulimia are a fall out of this body image crisis. And this is not limited just to the girls. Even boys are made to feel ‘less’ manly unless they fit the image popularized by media.

    2. Making Violence Normal:
The amount of violence in video games and movies today is scary. And teenagers spend several hours every day watching these scenes of gore. Violence becomes their reality. Many teenagers are unable to distinguish between reality and fantasy. This makes violence ‘normal’ for them. The number of school shootings in USA is an indication of this very fact.

    3. Making Everything Commercial:
Happiness comes at a price. At least that’s the message teenagers get through media. Their life would be perfect if only you’d buy them that hot new game, that happening dress

  • Media can manipulate the masses in favour or against whatever it is that pays them or doesn't pay them.

People in media are the worst kind of people with no morals. There are a few journalists who still go against the flow and write the truth but most of them have some connections or people that they work for. It is like choosing the nicest demon. They work for people who do wrong and show privacy invasions as a massive improvement.

Example: If a politician wants to install CCTV in a city what better way to do it than leave a van full of explosives in a city, successfully find those placed explosives and than say. A huge crackdown on terror groups working against the country, government to install CCTVs to tighten 'security'. So essentially to keep a tab on people. If I was a politician and I wanted to see who meets with the other party all I would do is install CCTVs and use advance face tracking features. Once the CCTVs are installed except the few who can read between the lines, most would think our country is becoming technologically advanced. Less privacy is not equal to technologically advanced. The same technology can also be used to nab gangsters but alas power often turns people. Not in all cases, but in a lot of them. So media has the power of making a bad thing look like a good thing and vice a versa.

  • Yes it has

I'm only saying no because I didn't want the votes having 100 percent. So I do believe that it has become too powerful and it's sad how much it has consumed the young kids nowadays. So yes it has become to powerful and has to much consumption with in it.
