Muhammad cartoons controversy: Should the Danish government have censored the cartoons?

  • No responses have been submitted.
  • No, get over it

Islam really needs to consider joining the 21st century. Oh no, his image was drawn! Give me a break. I try to be patient and I do think the Muslim community has a lot of people in it that are very unfairly labeled due to the actions of others, but this is ridiculous. Re-assess your priorities.

  • No, freedom of expression is too important.

Not everyone thinks the Muhammad should never be depicted in a cartoon. While it is better to depict religions with respect, the ability express oneself is more important than avoiding controversy. This does include the right to criticize or parody religion if one chooses to do so. Freedom of expression should not be taken away instantly.
