Parking lots/home parking (yes) or street parking (no)? (You can choose one say you love both but that you love the one you choose better)

  • Parking Lots/ Home Parking spaces are better for most situations I can think of.

One's car is easily accessible and that spot is always open. In addition, the car is sheltered from most weather situations that can cause damage to the car. In cities such as DC, street parking is the main way that people park and it can be extremely difficult to find a parking space especially once people are at work, and many spots require one to pay a toll for the space to be used for a set amount of time. This causes people to park long distances from their destinations. Another problem is that many people park their cars in a way that makes it impossible for another person to park in the next parking space.

    On the other hand,
One problem with home parking occurs during parties and group meetings. Areas with home parking sometimes do not offer the space for other people to park cars causing other people to park in a place that inconveniences other residents and causes more traffic on the roads. Street parking has a positive considering that many people in big cities do not have space to build a parking lot, and it allows people to use more of their property for what they want it to be.

For the suburbs and the country, home parking is great, but for big cities, Home parking is the way to go.
