No, You think today's music is dirtier than music used to be?
Three little words: 'Shave ‘Em Dry' (1935) https://www.Youtube.Com/watch?V=2ko2VXpW7_g&feature=kp http://badassdigest.Com/2013/07/30/shave-em-dry-a-totally-filthy-song-from-1935/ https://www.Youtube.Com/watch?V=q5JoDfi2KFk3 comments
"Today's music is dirtier than music used to be" and "music used to clean" both seem to imply the same thing
You're right, Evan, but you've taken it out of context though
I don't know. I rarely hear secular music, but it seems that it is getting dirtier because I've been exposed to it more.
Modern pop music is nothing but squeaking cleaned from the digital farts of electronic paraphernalia mixed with drunken pseudo- singing and hyped beyond human comprehension.
Then they make it more interesting by including explicit sexual content, references, and prison-esque language.
Don't even get me started on the dubstep genre of "music"...
What we are going to remember from back then, even if there was more dirty music, is the "clean" music.
So, what we remember is that there is more today.
