I feel that women have been subject to discrimination for a long time. Right from their birth they are treated differently which will lead them to have a mentality different from that of men due to which, their representation in politics will mean a more diverse set of opinions, which is in the spirit of democracy, so if you support democracy you would say yes.

They have just as much of a right to be involved in politics as men. However, as of recently the majority of the US does not like their policies so they do not vote for them. This has driven many people mad thus the "America is Sexist" movement began

Having some emotions in politics will help create more balanced laws. Since women will have to also live and endure the rulings voted upon they must not have to be in pain acting and supporting others to act on them.

I vote yes. However, I do find that women are much more prone to choose what they see as "safety" over actual freedom. More women than men want firearms to be illegal or restricted. More women than men also want drugs to be illegal. And this is a problem. Also, a message to women out there if you want to actually stay safe; buy a firearm to defend yourself, and stay away from dangerous drugs. No need to change the law to achieve those things.

Your gender has nothing to do with politics. It's the quality of character, passion, understanding, intelligence, and open mind that makes great politicians. Not what gender they are. On a side not not many politicians are of quality, man or woman.
