Some students need more help, some need less: so why require all of them to do more work than they need to learn? "Homework" should be optional. Extra materials available for students who actually need more practice.
Homework sucks D
Homework should be mandatory in early school, otherwise kids will just fall into a habit of being lazy. By high school though, studying should be based on our own motivation, not due dates.
homework takes up freetime. cant they teach us what we need to know in school
You need to practice at home what you learn at school. You need to read at home. There are lots of things you can do at home because there is not enough time in the school day.
