If Obama isn't responsible for the creation of ISIS, then why is it ISIS was created out of the Syrian Rebels and the issue of Assad wasn't an issue until the Obama administration?

@Haroush -- Hey buddy, not a real big deal here, but I think it is important to properly define where ISIS came from. ISIS has actually been around for thousands of years, it has just gone by different names over the centuries. However, if we focus directly on MODERN day ISIS, they actually spawned from Al-Qaeda and the terrorist state in Iraq and Afghanistan. Once Bin Laden was removed from existence (and arguably just shortly prior to this time) ISIS spawned within Iraq and Afghanistan. Now, ISIS was there while UBL was alive, but they were small groups separated from each other, yet they were EXTREMELY violent; so violent in fact, that UBL warned Al-Qaeda members NOT to join ISIS. However, it was not until the death of UBL that ISIS as we recognize today was born from the scattered groups of remaining Al-Qaeda members and followers. I can go more into detail if REALLY needed, but bottom line is, ISIS spawned from the fall of UBL and Al-Qaeda which were stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Off the top of my head, I believe the first altercation between U.S. troops and ISIS members was in Baghdad on a U.S. military base....If I'm remembering correctly.

@Haroush -- OH, let me add one more point here...Very important...YES, ISIS is comprised of Syrian rebels as well, however, by deduction of your poll question we are discussing MODERN day ISIS, not historical ISIS which spans back thousands of years.

Yes, modern day ISIS, not historical ISIS as I believe the Modern ISIS which has made most of it's gain from the vacuum created in Iraq and Afghanistan due to Obama withdrawing troops from the middle east. And two, his attempt in causing the fall of Bashar Al Assad.

Bush actually helped establish a democratic government in Iraq which was still in the process gaining civility and order, but Obama had to ruin it and use it for a political gain game.

The endless chicken-egg argument is worthless really. Bush destabilized the region - ISIS grew. Obama did (as promised) try to pull back from the conflict. Truth, to me, is - keep pulling back. I so don't care about ISIS.

If I'm not responsible for the death of my dog, then why is that my dog getting hit by a car wasn't an issue until I was born? Because there are different factors. Even if Obama was a large factor, there are other factors involved, like the responsibility of ISIS's actions being attributed to, oh I don't know, ISIS. Obama didn't hold up a medallion and hypnotize Syrians and say "you will form a militaristic movement bent on the violent spread of Sunni Islam over the globe"
