No it is not real
Yes it is real
If it were real, black people shouldn't wear suits anymore since white people invented them. This is nothing but PC bullshit!
Not in the derogative sense. Cultural exchange has been going on for millennia; it's just got much more common with the advent of globalisation. And for the record, I've appropriated a *lot* of elements from white culture, from Bach's music to Rickrolls.
No. Cultural appropriation is an example of multiculturalism, it divides the humanity. We're one with many cultures, not separate cultures. E Pluribus Unum. (Out of many, one.)
Even if it did exist, There would be nothing wrong with appropriating cultures. We have been exchanging cultural aspects for the last few thousands of years, Which has for the most part, Led to our benefit. Without Europe’s amazing technology, Our means of transportation would be restricted to boats, Wagons, And horses. If modern medicine didn’t incorporate the beneficial medicines of most cultures, We would be worse off than we already are. The people who accuse others of cultural appropriation are ironically stereotyping every person, Place, Thing, And idea into specific sections of the world. The concept actually embraces discrimination of race, Sex, Religion, And other classifications rather than it does help anyone.
I don't understand why it's wrong to appreciate other cultures. SJW's nowadays looking for things to hate
People tend to over-exaggerate or overdramatise how much of a problem it actually is. Most of the time, it's not even an "appropriation" a culture but just adoption or appreciation of it. Most of the time when actual "appropriation" occurs people tend to call just what it is, that being, racism.
Of course it is. The question should be -- Is it important to address cultural appropriation?
It's real and a good thing to take only good ideas from other cultures.
