Should students be allowed to chew gum in class?

  • Why not allow students to choose gum in class. Most of the time its not distracting and when it is distracting it's not even that bad. It;s not that bad of a thing to do.

  • yes, as long as it isn't a distraction, there is no problem.

  • Can be a stress reliever for some students and if they don't distract anyone else then yeah. They just have to not chew loudly or try not to pop it(okay if it was accidental) which should be possible.

  • Because some people pop their gum. Some people chew it loudly like a cow. No gum!
