  • Yes, and they should (and could if they wanted to) expand throughout the entire middle east. They are the only country in the middle east to not have men running around with bombs strapped to them.

  • The Zionist movement was originally in response to the rise of Nationalism in Europe during the late 19th century. Hence, Zionism is mostly a nationalist movement and not a religious one. Meaning that Anti Zionism in no way correlates with anti semitism. Prior to the Balfour Declaration, many Jews ran opposed to the establishment of Israel, including but not limited to, members of the British parliament, many Orthodox Jews and various members of the Rothschild family (at the time at least). Lastly, many Orthodox Jews agree that a Jewish state is not to be established until the coming of the "Messiah", meaning that the very establishment of modern Israel goes against traditional Jewish teaching (Correct me on this if I am wrong)

  • It is still unbalanced.

  • No Israel should be be a lot bigger it should take over Syria and Jordan and down to mount Sinai

  • NO, because the land was not Britain's to give. There should be a two state solution and more equally distributed. Israel should also remember the HOLOCAUST and stop doing the same thing to Palestinians. And America doesn't owe Israel ANYTHING.

Technically I would put no, because it should be bigger. It should not have disputed territory and if it can, they should conquer more land, as they would make better use of it than some Muslim government.

@UtherPeguin, not it doesn't. The Hebrew bible actually outlines that Israel would be re-established--also, the Rothschild family, etc. are only a small part of it. *No* reason that you've given there is really sufficient in showing why Israel shouldn't exist as a modern-day state. Criticism of its history and current policies can classify as valid argument[s], but stating that it shouldn't exist at all is indeed pretty ridiculous--as one could argue that about all countries in the world.

@Emilrose The question is on whether Israel should exist as it is, not if it should exist.

I'm torn on what to answer, because I definitely support the existence of Israel and the US alliance with them, but leaders like Netanyahu and the anti-Palestinian sentiment among some conservative groups has lead them down a dark path. Whether a one or two state solution, the Palestinians need to have some say over their own governance and their own lives.

Nate12logan10 What is your rationale for such an insidious and immature answer that would eradicate a race of people?

What rationale is behind Israel being bigger and dislocating more people? Why not send all the Jews from Brooklyn too and take over Europe? All of you have made nothing but a logical fallacy non sequitur.
