With flight there isn't a chance of you fusing to something. Well, I guess it depends on how fast you can fly.
You wouldn't need to fly if you could just teleport.
Picture this: You are walking down the street when suddenly you hear a scream. Above is fire spewing out of a building, and nearby are people sticking their hands out of the window. Sure, you could save them with the power of flight, but what if the ceiling collapses on you? Now you are trapped, and your powers aren't going to save you. If you had teleportation you could remove yourself from the situation, even when you get stuck. (Even if you teleported through wormholes, you can just make one underneath you or right next to you. Just as long as someone outside can pull you out, it shouldn't be a problem. Also, depending on HOW the teleportation works, you wouldn't necessarily get stuck.
