We keep animals for our own selfish needs Wild animals are wild animals, and it should have been kept that way in the first place. The only 'good' things about keeping animals in captivity are the fact that we as a human species are able to be educated and learn more about certain animals, as well as potentially saving certain species from extinction, but this would just be for our own selfish needs. If we weren't the dominant species on the planet, all animals would be able to roam freely and live naturally where they should be living. We shouldn't play with the lives of any animal, whether they are an endangered species or not. My point is pretty difficult to understand if you're all for the saving of all animals, but I think that nature should be the only thing to decide whether something continues to survive as a species or not. Animals should be kept in the wild, not in captivity.
