Music Aids Concentration. I believe that in situations such as silent study sessions or parts of class where you must study for a long period of time without teacher interaction, that listening to music should be allowed. My reasoning for this is that music can help students to focus and concentrate more as they are not being distracted by other noises within or outside of the class room. This improved focus allows for better and more in depth study, in turn possibly allowing for better grades over all.
