Yes, but science is not above religion, nor religion is above science. Science exists to ensure that the faith we have is no of the fanatic faith, but rather a faith based on reasoning. However, as our science is still limited, religion exists to give us a fundamental answer to some of these mysteries. I'm not saying that because religion gives us an explanation of these things that we should directly believe, for as curious beings, we should discover as to why the reasoning is like that. Also, people tend to review the Bible literally, when the Bible is to be reviewed not by the Word, but by the meaning behind these Words. Each of us has his or own interpretation of the Bible, and that I will respect that. Even the Church has its own interpretation of the Bible too.
