Love is never a crime If you do not like seeing two men or two women kissing, then that's fine. We cannot help our body's reactions. But that does not mean it is morally wrong just because that is not your taste. We all have different tastes. We may like different foods. Maybe you like vanilla ice cream, while I like chocolate. Does that make us bad people? No. We are both are still human beings. We cannot help what we like.
This is just the same as sexism. If you don't want people being judged by their gender, then DON'T JUDGE THOSE WHO ARE OF THE SAME SEX AND CANNOT HELP BEING IN LOVE. It is just like any other romantic or sexual relationship between adults. A man using a woman only for sex or vice versa is no different if they were a pair of men or women, because they are BOTH HUMAN BEINGS.
I do not understand at all how people make up doltish excuses for what would happen if homosexuality was accepted, like:
1. WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN?
2. GAYS CANNOT PRODUCE CHILDREN!
3. HOMOS WILL RAPE OUR CHILDREN AND MURDER yada yada yada!
4. GOD/JESUS SAYS IT'S WRONG
Here are my reactions to these idiotic arguments:
1. It is their life, not yours. It will NOT affect your children. They still have you as parents to be raised by. And would you rather have your child be raised by a straight couple who are murderers, or by the sweetest gay couple with absolute common sense?
2. First of all, there are 7 billion human beings on this planet. And they say 9 out of every 10 people are naturally straight. And a hundred babies are born every minute. We are NOT going to become endangered any time soon. Get that through your thick skulls (if you're a homophobe).
3. A man raping a man or a woman raping a woman is no different than a man raping a woman, woman raping a man, or man or woman raping a little kid. It is still a person being forced to have sex, which is NEVER OKAY, ESPECIALLY WITH CHILDREN.
4. If God really did love all, and told us to forgive those for our sins, even the most wicked, then he would be ok. That is, if he truly did exist.
LET GAYS LIVE THEIR LIVES! THEY ARE HUMAN BEINGS JUST LIKE US!
They are neither good or bad Tattoos are self-expression. It depends on who is wearing the tattoo. A secret terrorist may have a tattoo of the Satan symbol somewhere on him, or a someone may have a tattoo of something related to peace and love. I believe every tattoo should have a meaning, like a REAL meaning behind it; no one should get a tattoo to simply "look cool." You are (permanently) marking your skin. Wouldn't you want to make sure you wouldn't get something you would regret having later, and would put a LOT of though into it and make sure it truly means something to you?
And make sure you go to a reputable, sterilized, and sanitary parlor or shop and make sure all of the equipment is unused each time.
It's their future life, not ours. Some people aren't fit for high school, and that's fine. Still chasing for education such as the GED proves you care even though you dropped out. Some people drop out due to depression or family problems. Sometimes it is a good choice. I know parents just want the best for their kids, but their children are not property. They are human beings who are not hurting anyone or affecting anyone else's lives just because they don't want to finish high school.
As I said before, you can be educated with high school, GED, Internet, whatever. Society needs to stop automatically thinking high school and college are always better or the only way without getting proof of what they really know. And a piece of paper doesn't show that. What's the point of having it if you've forgot most of what you were tested on to get it?
Some college graduates are idiots and some high school dropouts are geniuses. Look at the inventor of Tumblr and Walt Disney.
The only person that will possibly get hurt is the person who gets them First, you have to make sure that there are no perilous risks getting some, and that you can take care of them.
But other than that, no one is doing anything wrong by doing what they want with their body. It's THEIR body, not ours.
Why do almost all professionals STILL won't hire someone just because they have tattoos or piercings? Professionalism is not in the looks-it is in their actions and personality. Yes, getting tattoos and piercings are an action, but we should do whatever we want with our bodies. What happened to "Don't judge a book by its cover."?
Besides, we should express ourselves. If you personally do not like them, then that's fine. That's your taste. But that doesn't make it right to take away their rights to have their taste just because you don't like it. I don't like mashed potatoes. Does that mean I judge people for liking them? No. We all have our own tastes, and we should have the right to do what we want. We are not hurting anybody.
It's just any other holiday like Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, and Christmas I celebrate all of the above (though I've never had a boyfriend, I give to other people) and I'm agnostic. Valentine's Day is about romance and love. Christmas isn't only for religious people. It's about love, friends, and family. And it's a week before the new year. Why do you think it's so sentimental?
St. Patrick's Day is a day where we wear all of green and if we don't we get pinched.
Sometimes doing crazy stuff is good for us.
That's why we celebrate Easter. I mean, if Easter was only for the religious, how would you think the children would feel? We all must have been like them when we were their ages!
How could it be? Sometimes, you have to be mean, yes. But no one wants to have a mean person as their leader, a helper, or friend. If you are nice then you are good-natured. Those who are always nice are naive. Those who are always mean are jerks. We must be mean to only those who deserve it.
Only if there is truly evil that must be stopped Wars must not be caused simply by differences and disagreements. One must cause evil, like that of Hitler, Stalin, and all the other dictators of our history, to necessarily start a war. If there was an efficient, accurate device that we could use to know people were speaking the truth, feeling what they feel (not liking it, I mean like how you feel someone's intense glare directed towards you), then maybe we would either try to make peace or simply capture and execute them, the ones who are genuinely responsible for evil-not the innocent citizens of that country as well. Having a heartless person as your leader does not make all of the citizens like him/her. Do you think everyone in this country supports Obama? No. Or all Germans supported Hitler? Or all Russians supported Stalin? No. There have been rebels in every country, or should I say wannabe rebels or just citizens who disagree with their leader. As well. There wil always be likers, haters, and lovers. That is how life is.
But if you can hear me, America, I ESPECIALLY ask you to not hurt the citizens. It is the government that has done wrong, not the citizens. And if you believe that the people approved of what Hitler did because they voted for him, you're wrong. We are lied to-we hear what we want to hear so they can deceive us into trusting them-and we do not always use lie detectors (we should). You know people can be expert liars.
What kind of question is this? Some people deserve to die if they had committed a truly evil deed. Others that have not and do not want to do not. Some people can be just confused or mentally ill and cannot help themselves, but we can help them. If they do not accept our help, then that's their problem for being stubborn. But that does not mean they deserve to die.
Right now it's not-maybe it never was What I mean by my headline is that-we were supposed to be AMERICA. But it started off as was just another revolution against a country's king.
I was born in America, and though I don't exactly HATE this country, I am just so pissed off because we are supposed to be the nation with the most liberty, the BEST, yet are still INCREDIBLY prejudiced, hypocritical, and totally lacking the sense we should have.
1. There are SO MANY fat people, yet so many don't give a damn! I am not talking about those with typhoid fever. I am talking about those who did it to themselves not overeating yet they just don't do anything about it. They do not bother to get educated about it or get any help at all.
2. Almost all of the time we HAVE to have a solid college education or
we go nowhere in life. That is not true at all. And yet there are so many with lack of education!
3. England is older and they have MUCH more sophistication, while the USA are known for having so many trashy people, yet they strictly tell us to be sophisticated.
4. You pretty much know what I mean by being prejudiced.
I am not saying England is paradise-I am just saying they do a much better job than their child.
As in if they are physically sick? To put them out of their misery, yes. If there is no way to help the person who is ill , no matter how much effort and attempts, then we would have no choice if the illness is severe or terminal. Letting them live would bring more pain to their life. By putting others out of their misery, we can no longer feel our pain. Sure, we don't want to die, but sometimes we have no choice.
