We didn't acknowledge the problem when we should have! Ebola could very much be a world-wide pandemic. For one, America has neglected the advancement of science, hence the cure for ebola, and any other epidemics we might experience, we wouldn't be prepared. We could of focused on ebola first hand in Africa and Guinea, instead of being such an individualistic country. Not only that, but since we were arrogant concerning the issue, we didn't make plans to protect the virus from spreading through transportation, because for some reason the U.S. government believes we live in an air tight bubble. All I can say is, this issue could of been handled a lot better. It's sad that we had to lose millions over this, but I'm glad were beginning to address the issue.
