Girls should be able to play on either an all girls team or a boys team. If a girl feels comfortable playing with the boys, then she should not be turned away. I was turned away from being able to play for my high school, but a coach from another school asked me to play. I absolutely love playing against the boys because it is so much competition.
No, No, No If it is not athletic, then it is not a sport. Sports should be defined as something that needs a technique, and where you have to train and train and train to be the ATHLETE that you want to be. Also, if your heart rate is not up and you aren't breaking a sweat, then you aren't working hard enough.
Girls Are Just as Good as Guys The boys just don't always understand that we can be just as good , if not better than them. I really would love to be in the NHL, but i do know that my chances are slim that it will happen, but nothing is impossible. Girls should always be allowed to play for the team that they want to play for.
Yes, Of Course If a student is hungry, then they won't be able to focus as well as they would if they were not hungry. I know that if my stomach is growling, I am thinking more about food than the lesson, but if I have something to eat, I can readily focus on what I am supposed to.
Yes! Yes! Yes! I think girls should be taught to check like the boys because it is teaching them how to play the game the way it was meant to be played. Girls can take the hits it they learn how to take and give a check. If a girl plays on a guys team, they are taught to check, so why not on the girls teams?
I think not. The dream for many youth athletes is to be the best, so they can grow up and play for their country. It is a dream held by me and many of my friends and fellow athletes. I think the people who play in the Olympics only tryout because they want to represent their country and prove themselves as being the best.
Why not? I do! I'm a girl who started playing on a boys ice hockey team last year, they were a little timid to talk to me at first, but as the season went on, we became very good friends. Also, I feel like I excelled more as an athlete by playing with the boys.
It's Part of the Game Let the boys fight. Fighting has been part of the game for many years, and the game should not be changed at all. If they want to fight, let them. The fans love it, and the players clearly enjoy it. Just watch a game on TV, they smile the whole time.
