It is morally right First of all, capital punishment is intened to strike fear into criminals, giving them second thoughts about killing. However to physco, it may be a whole lot of difference, even then jails are made for a reason. Take this for instant, what is the difference of capital punishment and a life sentence? The killer will have to be in jail for the rest of his life, while capital punishment eliminates those killers. Some might think this is the easy way out, however if those killers are set for life sentence, they might try to escape and eventually murder more lives then those already dead. As the saying says a life for a life, in this case capital punishment is the ultimate punishment for a MILLION possible lives lost rather than just one. Kill one save a million more. Even though people says that one cannot take away another's life as did the killer did. The killer MAY show a sense of guilt to turn over a new leaf and we 'should' always give others a second chance, but the ultimate truth is, did the killer ever gave his victims second chances? This is the ultimate end game for the world if capital punishments are abolished
