War shouldn't be the first option Going to war with a country that has nuclear weapons and is allied with countries such as China and Russia (As the previous opinion explained) wouldn't be a very intelligent idea. It would be far more sensible to try and talk things out peacefully rather than screaming "AMERICA!" and attacking them.
GMOs are rigorously researched First, I would like to point out that 88% of scientists believe that GMOs are safe (The consensus for global warming is 87% of scientists) http://www.pewinternet.org/interactives/public-scientists-opinion-gap/. While if not properly studied before being released, GMOs could be harmful, but that is why we have numerous studies to determine each GMOs safety for human consumption.
A mt-DNA survey performed in Australia... A mt-DNA analysis on aboriginals in Australia has shown that the mt-DNA of aboriginals in Australia is similar to that of the modern humans that left Africa and replaced the Homo Erectus populations. This is significant because it was previously hypothesized that there was gene flow between archaic Homo Sapiens in the area and Homo Erectus, this would suggest that Multiregional theory is correct, however the mt-DNA has proven that there was in fact very little interbreeding, further validating that Out of Africa/Replacement theory is in fact correct.
Several studies have proven this There are numerous studies that show there is no difference in pain relief between sham acupuncture (Needles are stuck in at random) and "real" acupuncture (Where the needles were stuck in at the acupressure points, as per acupunctures method) this shows that acupuncture works at the very least due partly due to the placebo effect and that any health benefits of acupuncture (if any) are neglibile.
No worse than any other religion. When you look at most of the other major religions, in particular Christianity, you find that there are indeed immoral things that are part of their religion (Homosexual hate, anti-women rights etc), but the great vast majority of people from both religions are normal like any other person. To finish off, I would like to point out that Muslims view IS the same way Christians/Catholics view the Westboro baptist church.
During naturally occurring climate change... In the past during naturally occurring climate change, the loss of ice sheets due to the rising temperatures has caused increased geological activity, possibly in part due to the reduced pressure from the ice sheets, which presumably caused earthquakes, so while I disagree that currently earthquakes are being caused due to global warming, based on the evidence I have provided, it may be possible that more earthquakes could occur when we lose ice sheets, such as Greenlands. It is unfortunate that there is no middle ground for this opinion question.
Nope and nope It seems highly unlikely that an omnipotent being decided to create the world, and then make sure it has heaps of imperfections. Out of all of the religions there are, you think yours is correct? I think the best thing we can do, is grow up and accept that there is no God.
We should be civil Aside from the risk of killing innocent people, we need to be better than the criminals. Killing them is just petty emotional revenge. Additionally, they could also be far more useful alive. Personally, I find it extremely concerning how there are so many people who wish death upon complete strangers.
No, it doesn't fit the properties of a planet This is an old argument that should have finished a long time ago, Pluto is NOT a planet, why? It doesn't fit the "Rules" of a planet, these rules are that it needs to orbit the sun (Yes), have strong enough gravity to compress itself into a sphere shape (Yes) and have "cleared the neighborhood" within its orbit (No), so because of this, Pluto is not a planet and is in fact a dwarf planet. If we make Pluto a planet then that means we will have countless other planets (Makemake, Ceres, Sedna, Eris etc).
Mars and Europa first While I agree that there could be life on Saturns moon Titan and possibly Encleadus, it is more likely to be found on Mars (Which once had near earth-like conditions for life) and Europa. I would like to point out that in Titans methane oceans, it has been propesed that life could be made of polyethers, that could function as DNA does for us, however it has been shown that polyethers cant dissolve effectively in Titans ocean (Life requires a liquid phase) so life via polyethers is unlikely to Titan. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25761113
