The U.S had no right to drop the atomic bomb. The phrase you can't fight fire with fire is prevalent in this case. The United States had no right to attack the innocent men women and children that were killed by this bomb when in reality they could have had no part in the war at all just having been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Hiroshima was heavily populated by civilians and not a major military post so the intent was to harm the civilians. The atomic bomb was and is still today a deadly invention that destroyed the lives of these Japanese. Not only did thousands die but there water sources were contaminated not to mention soil for generations to come. In an area were there is few land to harvest crops, the destruction of this contamination due to this massive blow was huge. Many can argue that it was because of this atomic bomb, this display of power, that the United States became entangled in the cold war with the Soviet Union thrusting forth a wave of deadly weapons that are still existent today and at any point can obliterate us entirely.
