Why remove the foundations of the country itself from our own currency? Ever since George Washington became our first, God has always been a staple within the lifetime of the country. To remove Him from the dollar bill is not only insulting to the Lord and Washington himself, as George once said, "It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible", but it's insulting to what this country came to stand for at its beginning. How could you remove such a figure when He has been part of our foundations as a country?
It could be said that it's insulting to other religions to include God on our currency, yet the majority of religions believe in a divine creator or being of some sort. The only group I could find being offended are the atheists.
