Animals have rights So if humans kill pigs for food its okay? Well yeah cause they are our source of food. Just like when we fight back to people who are threats to us, animals too. If they feel threaten they will attack.
Why do we have rights? Its not because we have logic and reasoning? Its to protects us. The question to ask isn't "Can they reason?" the question to ask is "Can they suffer?/Are they suffering"
giving them rights doesn't necessarily mean giving them the same or equal rights as us. Equality does not require equal or identical treatment; it requires equal consideration!!!
Some people are asking if animals Animals aren't more important than humans? We are all the same. The world wouldn't be balance if one doesn't exist.
I understand the testing of products on humans. Yes it would better for animals to test them for the safety of the humans. But animals aren't humans. No matter how many tests on animals are undertaken, someone will always be the first human to be tested on. Because animal tests aren't that reliable, they make those human trials all the more risky. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has noted that 95 percent of all drugs that are shown to be safe and effective in animal tests fail in human trials because they don’t work or are dangerous.
