If your kid is a disease carrier There is a basic trust placed in schools. We trust that they won't allow glass on the playground, That they have a special area set aside for kids with allergies, That they will keep adults of the opposite sex out of the bathrooms, Etc. There are people at schools who could be irreversibly harmed by a disease carrying child. . . Pregnant women, People (including children) who have poor immune systems, And babies being brought into a siblings class on special days. For anyone to be willing to put THOSE people at risk, And ignore precautions that could have been taken, Is selfish and incredibly cold. You don't want to vaccinate and are willing to take the huge risk for your child? Fine. But don't bring them to public places like school, Malls, Church, Grocery stores.
