It really should be banned, Homework is basically taking a child's destiny in life. I'm in the 12th grade and I get at least 19 pages minimum of homework. I barely never get to spend time with my friends, Be myself, My dog, And even my own family, I'm basically being torn apart from my own life.

Its just pointless School just does that so they have the children stressed out over their pointless crap. I'm pretty sure the school does this so they can have the children stressed over something like they don't have anything else going on in their life, So they attempt to fail a student and make them unsuccessful.
Conclusion: school just does that to make a child anxious.
