Why keep it? Step 1-Find twins who's reaction to sugar doses are equivalent...
Step 2-Have them do a body cleanse program
Step 3-Measure their blood sugar
Step 4-The test begins, have one drink within 5 hours a cup of high fructose corn syrup, have the other drink the equivalent ("Sugar" content) worth real sugar.
Step 5-Test both of their blood sugar
Step 6-Repeat the steps 3 weeks later but swap which one take in whatever sweetener.
Through this you'll find that the claim that the body doesn't know the difference is nonsense. When High fructose corn syrup goes to fat, it's a lot tougher to get rid of than regular fat, and many suffer from this.
Why keep it when sugar alternatives such as Stevia, Xylitol, Honey, and maple exist?
Xylitol can be made from corn as well and xylitol is in huge demand for dentists and some experienced users of the product. Frankly, I think that whoever runs the companies that produce the crap must be bordering on mentally retarded.
