It's outdated and we need to accept it. Man has from now to even old antiquity survived without god. Some ancient greek philosophers did these and they produced marvelous theories about math and physic. But you can also live a moral and good life without god. But religions has also claimed and oppressed so many things that in my mind it shouldn't have done. Religion are also divisive between humans and made wars that wouldn't have happend.
