• Yes because then kids can't learn as much about animals

Kids need to now more about animals and how to save them. I love animals. I want my kids to see a animals that are here right now. If i am 8 when i am 35 imagine what it will be like. So help me here. Cause i think you want to see what it is like

  • Animal research should be allowed.

Animal research should be allowed. This is because animals need to be researched. We have a lot of animals on the earth. All of these animals should be studied and researched so as to acquire knowledge about the animals. If we are to live in a world, we should understand it.

  • Yes some is needed

There is a need for some animal research in some instances. What should not be done is cruelty to animals. If the test is going to harm the animal or the lab is being cruel to the animal it should not be allowed. Otherwise animal testing is okay to do.

  • Animal research is important.

I think that animal research should absolutely be allowed, but there should be regulations put in place to ensure that they are not being taken advantage of or tortured. I believe that animal research is the key to finding longstanding fixes in the human element through medical research and scientific progress.

  • Allow Animal Research

I think animals should maintain some rights and overall be treated correctly. However, we create a lot of products and especially drugs, that should be tested before humans consume them. It is far more humane to accidentally injure or harm an animal, than it would be to do something similar to another human.

  • Humanity First, Animals Second

Breeding animals for the express purpose of testing them should be allowed because human life is more valuable. Yes, animal research is probably abuse and animals suffer because of it. However, abandoned cats and dogs are already suffering. Humans suffer abuse on a daily basis at the hands of alcoholics, sex offenders, drug abusers and wife beaters. So, which is more important? We can't gripe about the cruelty to animals when there is still cruelty to humans on a daily basis. Let's solve humanity's problems first before we tackle animal cruelty.

  • Whilst it's not pretty, it is necessary.

Whilst it makes you cringe and we'd all rather turn a blind eye or start accusing animal testing, you're failing to see the bigger picture. Animal testing has played a major role in virtually every medical advance in our history. From antibiotics to blood transfusions, from dialysis to organ-transplantation, from vaccinations to chemotherapy, bypass surgery and joint replacement, practically every present-day protocol for the prevention, treatment, cure and control of disease, pain and suffering is based on knowledge attained through research with animals.

How can you really want to get rid of this? Do you think that we should just allow untested drugs and cures to be distributed world-wide without any form of trials? Because you must be very naive or plain ignorant to think that results in a petri-dish and results on paper reflect what we get when we test things on living creatures.

Don't get me wrong, I am against animal cruelty and mistreatment. I buy organic food and I respect the environment, but surely you must understand that the lives of a few animals can save millions of other lives!

  • Most of animal research is used to test new cosmetic products, not for medical purposes.

If you have an animal in your home, would you give it up for animal research so they could find out what new makeup is going to make millions? Didn't think so. Society is all about the consumers and what products they are going to want to buy. The ratio that it is used for medical purposes and cosmetics is way more on the cosmetic side.

  • Animals and Humans equil

Absolutely not, If think for a second that a human life is more important than an animal life your an insufferable human being. Animals have increasingly low numbers on earth. While humanity has over 7 billion people. Why should we help the thriving over the ones who need it the most.

  • No, it shouldn't.

Animal research is horrendous and traumatizing torture for the animals. There is no need to test cosmetics on them. Medical research can often be done on non-living animals or on tissues. Research on apes is especially terrible. Apes are very human-like and capable of higher levels of thought and consciousness than other animals.

  • Why test human products on animals?

I am failing to understand how people genuinely believe that animals are replaceable and so that is a good enough reason to test products on them! Just because they can't speak doesn't mean that they don't feel pain! There are paedophiles sat in prisons being fed good food with luxuries whilst innocent animals are being tortured! Make good use of the sick scum bags sat in prison and spare the animals lives! Also, if the products are being made for humans than why not test them on humans?

  • Animal Research should not be allowed!

Animal Research is not right in any form, an animal should only ever been giving something, is at the vet. Otherwise it should be out of the question, it is wrong that Animal Research should be allowed to happen, because the animal that is being researched on could be in a loving caring home. Rather than being in terrible conditions and being mistreated and once finished being tested on they let in the animal die in pain. This should NOT be allowed at all!
