Should employers be allowed to require waiting periods for health insurance benefits?

Asked by: ehuynh
  • Waiting Periods are needed

Companies would suffer financially if there were no waiting periods. If someone had just been hired, And immediately gets a serious injury, The company would not be able to cover for that person. With waiting periods, Companies can prepare to pay for health insurance for their employees without going bankrupt.
