  • They should be free

Hospitals are needed for emergencies and they can save lives. A lot of people face a lot of difficulties and health problems because they can't afford health care. Hospitals being free would truly help a lot of people and save many lives, we should always strive to help people be healthy and happy.

  • Free health care

I think health care should be free because many go without it. Maybe someone without any money has this really rare disease and needs treatment imminently but cant afford it. I know many people say oh ya they need to go get a job, but some people don't have the money and may not look presentable to get the job and get the money to go get health care. I think all health care should be free!!!!

  • Yes but only for those who live in the country the hospital is in

If its a hospital that is in your own country then you shouldn't have to pay to be healthy because an unhealthy population is bad for any country. The hospital employees can just be paid by the government and the hospital supplies can be paid by the government as well

  • Oh yeah! :)

Hospital should be free, there is no doubt about it. A lot of public places are free, libraries, parks, schools, and high schools, so why can't a hospital be free! If hospitals were free then a lot of people would not be homeless because hospital bills are proven be the number one cause for bankruptcy with about 1.7 million bankruptcy a year. America has so much money, we are one of the richest countries in the world, so why can't some taxes go to hospitals instead of armies? They have enough we have the 2nd biggest army in the world with 1,492,000 highly trained soldiers. That’s enough, however we have 46% of uninsured adults could not get coverage because it was too expensive. This problem too would be solved if medicare was just free. Another thing is that in the Declaration it says that all men have “unalienable rights, among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” well, would you be happy if you have been sick for ever and you can’t get the help you need because it is too expensive? An example is, Somebody comes in the room and says they are dying and they ask the person at the desk
“Help me I'm dying!”Then the person at the desk says,
“You don't have enough money we can't help you I'm sorry.” That's unfair is going to die! Why can’t they help him for free. Hospitals save lives right? Why can’t they save this man’s life? Another Example is,
If someone is having a baby and the baby dies then they're going to charge the woman for the baby dying. It's not fair!

  • They should not be free in third world countries

Oftentimes, the instruments and chemicals needed for treatments are very expensive. Third world countries, which need free hospitals most desperately, do not have a stable enough economy that they can supply doctors and medical centers with the costly resources they need. Furthermore, if all the governments money goes into medical care then other more important government projects may dry up from lack of funding. Free education would do more for a country and its future than free hospitals and treatments. In first, and to some extent second world countries, free hospitals are a possibility and are affordable for the government. Unfortunately though third world countries do not have the resources to divulge in this.
