  • Your haircut is a display of who you are.

Students should be able to have their own haircut, without having to comply with prescribed haircuts. It's reasonable to sanction a student for having a ridiculous haircut. But it is insane to think that a student would be sanctioned for not complying with what some people think is "proper". Your haircut is a display of who you are, an extension of you. And having your school to tell you what your haircut should be is overstepping the personal line.
