Should next TV sets have a built-in digibox?

Asked by: Doom30
  • External devices are bulky, uses many wires and remote controls.

Smart TV's eliminates the use of external devices such as disc players that has separate remote control, because of its built-in media player that uses at least USB flash drive that contains multiple movies and uses only one remote. Except game consoles and digibox. Digital TV cable should pass through digibox then to TV via HDMI or AV, because TV sets still use analog receiver. TV is called TV, because of TV receiver that is useless in digital cable and digibox is actually the TV receiver so the TV set is actually a monitor. Basic TV sets are more expensive than PC monitors because also of analog TV receiver.
