Should ones interpretation of the Bible be subjective?

Asked by: Evannnn
  • Yes it is

I don't think one's opinion of the Bible should be subjective, I think it is subjective. How one interprets the Bible depends on a lot of things, look at the different forms of Christianity that all come from different viewpoints on the Bible. Take the book of Job, the objective interpretation is that there was a man who took on suffering and never let himself lose Faith for even a second and was rewarded afterwards. But, how can you relate it to your life without looking at it from your own point of view? So I guess my answer is yes, the Bible should be taken subjectively, one should take its lessons from one's own point of view.
