Should Popes John XXIII and John Paul II be declared saints?

  • No, or at least not John Paul II.

Pope John XXIII was a very revered and open minded pope who brought a breath of fresh air to the Roman Catholic Church. For that he at least deserves to be looked at in terms of being declared a saint. Obviously this would only make sense to Catholics, and a very long process needs to be undergone.

  • No they shouldnt.

Declaring someone as a saint is a huge and life changing thing and the title should not be given to everyone regardless if you were a pope or president or whatever your title may be. I do not think that they rightfully earned the title of a saint and it shouldnt happen.
