A classic novel that is written by a canonical author include Romeo & Juliet, and this has to be one of the most utilized romantic novels within school curriculum since the novels release. Therefore, romantic novels have and will continue to remain in school curriculum.

    Romantic novels should not be part of school curriculum unless there is something significant in them that teaches the student something. Imagery, description, point of view, and such are great things to discuss on a novel, and trying to determine how the character evolves through out the story in what ways, etc.
