School days should start later. One reason is because they are tired. Also on a picture a high school student was tired. Another reason is because you need at least 8 to 9 hours of sleep. Also they can go to school hungry. The last reason is because they may have bad behavior. For this reason school should start later.
There has been reserch done thet kids brains dont start to fully work until tell 10 in the morning so startimg eairly canh result in test failures and kids will be really sleepy at schools i think, school should start at 10 in the morning then kids eill think better.
They should because some kids need the sleep so they sleep in longer then realizing they don't have time to eat a full breakfast. Then the student won't do as good during school because they didn't eat, and because they didn't have a good, proper breakfast to eat. Also if they have sports at night, they get home late and don't get enough sleep.
Because kids are too tired at school so they won't do as good. Also some kids need the sleep so they sleep later and then they don't get the proper breakfast they need so then that leaves them hungry at school. When you don't have the proper breakfast, you don't do or learn as well as you should. Then school lunches are not the best so they might not eat a full meal till dinner.
High schoolers are basically new-born babies when it comes to sleeping; they need a lot of it. If only the nap time used in pre-school was used when I was a Sophomore, I'd surely get an A in everything! Besides, kids in pre-school are so energetic they don't need a nap.
Schools they stress kids put by waking up early than they usually need to sleep. Most kids go to sleep at 9:00-10:00 pm, and when they wake up their really tired.Most Kids even have side effects, their heads are pounding form how early they wake up at 5:00 am. Also kids need more than 8 hours of sleep kids who wake up at 5:00 am don't get the rest that need, schools need to start later!
According to Doctors and Scientists humans are biologically made to go to bed late and wake up late. So if schools start later we can be more focused and learn more, not fall asleep more often, and lower the number of depressed people during the school year. Yes, people are depressed when they don't get sleep, they don't know what to do or how to handle it.
There are reasons people are not paying attention, falling asleep in class and failing quizzes, tests and assignments. They can't focus, we are just so tired. We need our sleep, it is good for our body.
It would also benefit teachers. They could sleep in more and be up and ready, without having as much coffee to keep them up. Students wonder why teachers always are drinking coffee in the morning, we'll they are trying to stay awake. Between the work, waking up early, grading papers and handling work stuff (meetings, PPTS etc.). It will benefit everyone and not make school a sleep area.
According to the National Sleep Foundation, scientists suggest teenagers are sleep deprived because of the early start times of school. Kayla Walhstrom at Unv. Of Minnesota, tested starting schools later from 7:15 to 8:40 am. The impact was outstanding. The teenagers showed improved alertness, improved attendance, decreased student-reported depression , increase in grade point averages, and reduced drowsiness.
Along with researchers at Harvard Kennedy School sharing data charts showing that teenagers are in the most critical state of brain development, so students require at least 7 hours of sleep, but starting school early pressures the brain and doesn't allow it to be fully rested and revived which messes with a teenagers natural body clock and growing hormones.
Kids don't want to wake up at 7:00. They should think about the summer and spring. It's going to be nice and warm outside. They won't want to stay at school till 3:30, they would want to be outside playing sports. But some kids like school, but I would like to get up early then staying late in school. Some middle schools don't get recesses,an that means they are anxious to go out side when it's warm. So they want to get home earlier to go outside and get some fresh air.
Generally, students wake up late if school start late, but from a healthy angle, waking up early is benefit to human body.
Firstly, wake up late will disturb the human body clock and causing problem with organ’s activities. For a long term, you would have bad spirit and poor mood.
Next, human body would usually have finished the food from last night around 7 o’clock in the morning, and then the intestinal would shrink if you do not eat. This issue might eventually become chronic gastritis, ulcer disease and Indigestion.
Do not wake up on time also effects the excitement of muscle. The muscle relaxes through the sleeping in the night and if you have some exercise in the morning that would promote the blood to cycle better. On the other hand, you feel your muscle pains and weakness.
At last, according to scientific research waking up late would affect people’s memory. All in all, I would recommend that school should start around 8-9, not be too late.
