The reason why school officials be allowed to have guns is to protect students. Teachers and students should be allowed to have guns in school. Just in case a armed intruder breaks into the school and the cops take 10-15 mins to get the school to stop the intruder. But students have to check it in the classroom when the walk into the classroom. Teachers should be in the halls during passing time to no student pulls a gun out on another student for a stupid reason
I think that school officials should be allowed to have guns. I think that it would be the best way to prevent school shootings and/or other tragedies. School officials in the past carried weapons and there never was a problem. I think that school officials should be trained in gun safety, education, and general use.
I believe it would be a good idea to implement policies that would allow school officials to have guns with them. I believe if we do this, we should have special classes for these officials and also require yearly training on procedures and gun safety. I believe if it is done properly it will benefit schools in general.
Yes, school officials should be allowed to have guns, because it would make them feel safer. Even if one teacher could fight back against someone who was intent on hurting students, it would be worth it for all teachers to own guns. They should have to be trained in how to use them.
With the recent school shootings, security should be increased in all educational institutions to promote safety and the well-being of everyone. Officials should be trained or have a required license to carry the firearm, however. Armed school officials have the potential to put a stop to any threats that could harm students.
School officials should not be allowed to have guns. There is no need to bring any guns into a school for any reason, even for security. There can be armed security that is outside of the schools, and you have metal detectors to all of the school entrance. No way should this be allowed!
School officials should not have guns. What if someone decides to shoot a child or what if they abuse the power? This could lead to a school shooting and it endangers the kids. Besides, most schools have police officers that visit the school every few weeks. Also, if they carry guns parents would feel like there children are in danger.
No they should not. School officials do not need guns and what happens if one of them abuses that power or does not properly know how to shoot the gun. It seems like it would make the parents feel more unsafe about the people with the guns and less safe.
No school officials besides armed guards should be able to carry weapons on campus. These individuals usually aren't trained with firearms and shouldn't carry these items. In reality, putting guns in the hands of these individuals would lead to plenty of problems that schools aren't ready to tackle right now.
School officials should not be allowed to have guns. There is no need to bring any guns into a school for any reason, even for security. There can be armed security that is outside of the schools, and you have metal detectors to all of the school entrances to help with saftey.
