It was inhumane.

The people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki were not criminals. They were just normal people going about their day. Not only was it inhumane to the survivors, but that land is now ruined by radiation. There is no excuse for causing the devastation that the U.S. Released upon that area of land.

They were part of Japan's total war effort. Once they accept total war, the people are equal targets as the soldiers. If they are not against the war, they are supporting it.

When you look up a picture of Nagasaki, you will find a big city.

The Japanese citizens were not innocent, the government was training children to carry spears to attack any outsiders. The fact is though if the US did invade Japan through an aquatic invasion, women and children would also be attacking, not just the military

Since we here are anonymous, I can't tell if you're the same person who commented earlier or you simply share the same unintelligible opinion. Heck, you could also be someone attempting to be a successful (Not really) troll. Anyway I'm going to suspect the former, so get ready. You imply that the children willfully accepted to the training. Well, there's the first error. The people had no such say and were forced into the training. "Women and children would also be attacking?" I would highly doubt that all would attack, and most would fight simply because of the fact that they would be terrified. Have you ever thought about being invaded? Scary thought, I know. Most Americans would do that exact same thing. Think about it. Now, assuming that you did, the citizens don't have many rights, and have no say about the war. Ultimately, the citizens are innocent. Your idea basically states that they aren't innocent just because they live there. If you've read this, thank you for using 12YOPoliticalNerd
