Should the United States Federal Government substantially increase debt forgiveness for student loans?

  • I think they should

Maybe they should because there are so many people going to college at a young age before they are even sure of what they really want to do and people make wrong decisions and they often find it hard to find a job that they like or even a job at all so the government should be more forgiving.

  • US Federal Government should increase debt forgiveness.

The average cost for a university education in state is approximately $30,000. Out of state tuition can double or even triple this amount. This substantial balance being thrust upon a student immediately after graduation is an unfair hindrance, and is an indicator that the focus of our economic security is misplaced. We can not lean on the repayment of debt for national advancement, and these students might not be immediately equipped to settle this debt after graduating from college.
