• The United States

I personally agree,In June 2011, President Obama announced his plan to begin the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan. But the president did not say that all US troops would leave Afghanistan by the end of 2014. What he did say was 10,000 troops would be removed by the end of the summer 2011, with 23,000 additional troops leaving at the end of the summer of 2012. After that, according to the President:
our troops will continue coming home at a steady pace as Afghan security forces move into the lead. Our mission will change from combat to support. By 2014, this process of transition will be complete, and the Afghan people will be responsible for their own security.Notice that the President did not say that our mission in Afghanistan will end by 2014, only that it will cease to be a "combat" mission and become a "support" mission. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney has since confirmed that President Obama never said US troops would be completely withdrawn by the end of 2014.

  • We aren't helping.

Yes, the United States should withdraw from Afghanistan, because there are other things that we can do to fight American deaths by terrorism, besides allow American deaths by fighting a senseless war. We can use drones or bombs, or other things besides humans. Too many people have died under Obama's watch.

  • Yes, we should withdraw.

I believe it is time for the United States to withdraw from Afghanistan. I believe we are at the point now where ground fighting would continue indefinitely for however long we remained there. I do not think there is anymore that can be accomplished by maintaining our presence in Afghanistan. They need to start adjusting to us leaving.

  • We have made our statement

Yes, I believe that the United States should withdraw from Afghanistan. We went into the country with a reason and that reason have been fulfilled. The United States is not the world police and we can not fix the world. In fact we need to focus on fixing ourselves first. We have issues of our own to deal with.

  • 14 year war was not long enough

Bring the troops home, we need to rebuild our country. What else can be done in Afghanistan? The so called "experts," are worried that the country will go back to the way it was before we got there. It probably will because the Afghans have been living that way for thousands of years. All we are doing now is putting troops in harms way for no reason and wasting money.
